The National Gathering for First Nations weavers.

Kurdinthi is a First Nations–led National Gathering held biannually celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander weaving and fibre practices. Delivered on Kaurna Yarta, it creates space for cultural exchange, artistic innovation and industry development.

The Gathering is delivered through a partnership between Ku Arts and JamFactory, with support from Creative Australia.

Kurdinthi brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander weavers from across Australia for four days of workshops, talks, cultural exchange and an exhibition.

A celebration of enduring cultural practice and contemporary artistic innovation. Kurdinthi’s purpose is to grow, develop and nurture talent while continuing knowledge sharing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through weaving and fibre practice.
